And Now He's 9

For his 9th birthday Riley wanted nerf guns.  I can't just buy one nerf gun, think of the fights.  I can't just have 2 nerf guns, 2 boys would gang up on the 3rd.  So he got 3 nerf guns.  I spent the rest of the day yelling things like:

"DON'T SHOOT PEOPLE!"

"DON'T SHOOT ANY LIVING THING!"

"YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT!" seriously I actually said this

For dinner we had smoked Baby-back ribs, smashers, garlic bread cole slaw and of course cake.  

Pinewood Derby

Riley raced in his first Pinewood Derby.  As the Uber-Scouter he really got into it.  He named his car the riley 1.  Go riley go go.  ( his car is the one with the big 1 on the front.)  He came in 5th or 6th overall due to the fact it was underweight.  Next year he plans on taking the cup
