Bread Sticks

1c warm water
1Tbs yeast(1pkg)
1Tbs oil
about 3 1\2 c flour
1tsp salt
Butter
Garlic salt
Parmesan cheese

In your mixers bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add oil, and 2 cups flour, mix well. Add salt. Then with mixer on med-low, slowly add flour, 1 Tbs at a time until dough is soft and forms a ball that cleans the side of the bowl. Knead 3-4 min. cover and let rise to double. Roll dough out onto a pizza pan. Spread with butter, and sprinkle generously with Garlic salt and cheese. An herb blend like Mrs Dash is also a good topping. Pre- heat oven to 400 deg. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until puffy. Right before sliding into oven, cut into thin sticks with a pizza cutter. Bake for 15 + min or until golden brown on top. Great with soup, chili or pasta. Add a pizza cheese blend and serve with marinara sauce, or skip second rise, and top as a pizza. This recipe can be doubled or tripled depending on the size of your mixer. A double recipe is perfect for a dinner party of about 6-8 people.
